Home/Services/Hard drive destruction
Oklahoma City and statewide
Your hard drives are destroyed in your parking lot.
Hard drive destruction in Oklahoma City (OKC) and anywhere else in the state. There is a slot in the side of the shredder, at the front of the bed right behind the cab. Your drives go in there and are destroyed on the spot, while you stand next to the truck. Nothing is collected, nothing is taken away, nothing is dealt with later at a facility you will never see.
Why physical destruction
Deleting is a promise. Shredding is a fact.
A wiped drive is a drive that somebody has told you is empty. A degaussed drive is a drive that somebody has told you is scrambled. A shredded drive is a tray of metal fragments, and no one has to be trusted about anything.
Wipe
Software erasure
Depends on the tool completing correctly, on the drive being healthy enough to write to, and on nobody skipping the step. A failed drive cannot be wiped at all — and a failed drive is exactly the one you most want gone.
Off-site
Collected and taken away
Your drives leave the building intact, sit in somebody's vehicle, then sit at a facility. Every hour in between is an hour you are trusting a stranger with a working copy of your data.
Ours
Shredded in your lot
The drive goes into the slot on the side of the truck at your address and is destroyed on the spot, in front of you. Nothing recoverable ever leaves the property, and there is no interval anybody has to account for afterwards.
One machine, two ways in
Paper at the back. Drives at the side.
It is a single unit running the length of the truck bed, not a separate box bolted on for show. Paper goes in at the back, where the lift tips your locked containers in. Hard drives go in through a slot in the side, up at the front behind the cab. Same machine, same visit, two ways in.
That is why drive destruction can run alongside your paper rather than being a second appointment. Carry the drives out to the truck, they go in the slot, and they are destroyed immediately — not bagged up and queued for later.
- Mechanical hard drives, internal and external
- Solid-state drives and M.2 modules
- Backup tapes and optical media
- Phones, tablets and other small handhelds

Comparing quotes
One question worth asking everybody.
Plenty of companies will tell you they handle hard drives. Far fewer destroy them at your address. If you are weighing us against somebody else, ask them the same thing you are welcome to ask us:
- Where exactly will my drives be destroyed? At my building, or at your facility?
- Can somebody from my office watch it happen? On the day, without an appointment weeks out.
- Is the shredder actually on the truck? Ask them to show you where the drives go in. We will.
- Who has custody in between? If the answer involves a van and an overnight, that is the answer.
We are not going to tell you what our competitors do or do not have fitted to their trucks — we genuinely do not know what everyone in this state is running. We will show you ours.
Who calls us for this
The businesses that cannot afford a maybe.
Any organisation replacing equipment ends up with a pile of drives in a cupboard that nobody wants to be responsible for. That cupboard is the risk.
- Medical practices
- Patient data on retired workstations and imaging equipment.
- Law firms
- Client files on machines that have come off a lease.
- Banks and credit unions
- Account data under retention rules that end in destruction, not storage.
- Federal contractors
- Destruction requirements written into the contract itself.
- Schools and agencies
- Student and personnel records on equipment being cycled out.
- Anyone refreshing IT
- A fleet of old laptops is a fleet of readable drives until it is not.
Where we do this
Hard drive destruction across the OKC metro.
The drive shredder is bolted into the same truck that does the paper, so anywhere we shred documents we destroy drives — the whole of the Oklahoma City metro, Tulsa, and every town in between. Same visit, same invoice, same parking lot.
Got a cupboard full of drives nobody wants to sign for?
